Main Building - Electrical Power Interruption

Saturday 27th July 2013 - 07:30-16:00 hrs

Due to essential maintenance on the High Voltage switchgear feeding the Main Building area it will be necessary to carry out a number of interruptions to the electricity supply on the above date. 

These multiple interruptions will last for approximately one hour on at least three different occasions (there will be at least one hour between shutdowns to enable equipment to recharge). Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Computing Centre (38-41Park Place) / Students Union / Maths & Education / Senghennydd Road Squash Courts & Fitness Centre - Electrical Power Interruption

Saturday 27th July 2013 - 08:00-13:00 hrs approx

Due to essential maintenance on the High Voltage equipment by the Consumers Network Operator (Western Power Distribution) there will be an interruption to the electricity supply feeding the above areas. 

The back-up generator on the Computing Centre is intended to run for this period but users in 38-41 Park Place may experience up to approximately 10 minutes delay both sides of the shutdown. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
