The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication. IELTS scores are accepted across Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and the USA.
IELTS is managed by the British Council, the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL) and IDP: IELTS Australia.
Cardiff University is a British Council IELTS test centre.
The IELTS test is made up of four modules: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
Office opening times: 9.00am to 1.00pm and 2.00pm to 4.30pm (Monday to Friday)
Please note that the IELTS office will be closed on Monday 27 May 2013 due to a Public Holiday. The office will reopen on Tuesday 28 May.
Please note that the IELTS test fee for 2013 is £135.
