We will be publishing a calendar of key equality dates for 2015 and would like your photos to illustrate it. The calendar will be circulated electronically throughout the University and to our external contacts. Prizes will be awarded for the 12 photos selected. Equality Act 2010
The University has general and specific duties for eliminating discrimination and promoting equality under the Equality Act 2010. The University has developed a draft Strategic Equality Plan to promote equality and achieve equality improvements across the University. This includes six equality objectives and covers the protected characteristics of Age, Disability, Gender Reassignment, Marriage and Civil Partnership, Pregnancy and Maternity, Race, Religion or Belief, Sex (Gender) and Sexual Orientation.
