Surveying and Prospection - 10 credits (HS2314)

A practical module which equips the student to deal with important and common techniques of archaeological field survey and geophysical prospecting at the site scale. Since 2006 students on this module have been surveying in and around the Roman legionary fortress at Caerleon, and have produced some very significant results. Find out more about Roman Caerleon.

Assessment: In-course assessment by course tutors plus student report on work done.
