Digital/Online Resources for Victorian History - 10 credits (HST802)

The Internet has encouraged the proliferation of digital and online research resources from digitised texts to picture libraries to data sets. How to make sense of these resources, find one’s relevant to research, and how to evaluate them are problems that historians are beginning to face. This module introduces students to digital and online sources of information for research and unpublished information relevant to research on Victorian history and encourages them to develop a critical understanding of the uses, advantages and application of these resources.
