Level Three Modules
Understanding Level Three
Generally speaking, Level Three modules are more challenging in terms of both course content and in what they expect of you. Level Three modules offer in-depth analyses of particular religious traditions, with an advanced, degree-level use of different methodological approaches. Consequently, a greater degree and depth of knowledge, analysis and argumentation will be expected of you.
The Department's degree programme has flexibility built into it and as such, you can take both Level Two and Level Three courses in your third year. However, in order to graduate you must have successfully completed 120 credits of study in Years One, Two and Three. The relevant degree regulations provide further information and should be read in conjunction with the information given here.
