Research Group on the Body, Health and Religion (BAHAR)

BAHAR is a group of researchers on the body, health and religion formed in March 2008 and based in the School of History, Archaeology and Religion at Cardiff University. It also includes members elsewhere in the University, throughout the UK and globally.

BAHAR’s members are scholars of anthropology, religion, theatre, psychology, and other academic disciplines, as well as people working with the body in dance, movement and therapy, and creative artists in words, music, the visual arts and other dimensions.
