The Challenges of Human Trafficking in Wales: Putting the Rhetoric into Practice

Cardiff University, in partnership with the NGO Anti-Human–Trafficking Frontline Forum, Wales, will host a strategic round table to explore the challenges of Human Trafficking in Wales. This event, supported by Joyce Watson, AM and the UK Human Trafficking Foundation, aims to enable strategic leads across the public sector in Wales, to build understanding about Human Trafficking and examine how to implement our safeguarding responsibilities to protect people who have been trafficked in Wales.
The NGO Anti-Human–Trafficking Frontline Forum, Wales consists of Barnardos Cymru, BAWSO, New Pathways, Safer Wales and the Welsh Refugee Council -frontline agencies working together to raise awareness and improve services and support for people who have been trafficked in Wales.
Who Can Attend?
Representatives from the Education Sector; Public Health Wales; LSCB leads on child trafficking; Local Authority Heads of Service; Police representatives WLGA; and the Welsh Government are all invited.
