This half day seminar presents recent research findings, best practice and policy development for practitioners, policy makers and researchers working with children and young people in the area of gender and sexual violence. Bringing together current research from the School of Social Sciences the aim of the day is to encourage reflection and debate on the relationship between research and practice exploring the everyday experiences of sexual harassment and violence with research and practice on child sexual exploitation and child sexual abuse. Identifying future directions in research, policy and practice in Wales will be an essential outcome of the seminar.
